Effective 6 August 2025, the service has been updated: instead of activating a 60-day KT prepaid line and later converting it to postpaid when your Residence Card is issued, we now provide a 60-day data-only eSIM with 60 GB. Once you receive your Residence Card, you will complete the postpaid activation online. This change was necessary because of a technical issue affecting eSIMs that KT issues to foreign customers.
